Make a Difference this Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join the Junior League of Springfield Missouri in
our mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact. As a
special incentive, our Board of Directors has generously offered to match $750 of
funds donated, doubling the impact of your contribution.

What Your Donation Supports

POSITIVE COMMUNITY IMPACT 

Since 1959, JLS has contributed over 1.3 million volunteer service hours and over $4.6 million to the community. On average, our members donate over 20,000 hours of volunteer service annually to the community. 

JLS has undertaken numerous projects and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of our community. JLS was instrumental in establishing Isabel’s House, Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks; Discovery Center of Springfield; Ozarks Public Television; Leadership Springfield; the Community Focus Report Card; Boys & Girls Club of Springfield, and many more. 

VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP TRAINING 

Our organization is dedicated to fostering leadership among women through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Your support helps us to:

• Advance women’s leadership: We believe in the necessity and significance of women exercising leadership throughout the community. Your donation helps us empower women to take on leadership roles and drive positive change.
• Provide training and education: We offer programs that enhance personal and professional leadership skills, ensuring our members are equipped to make a difference.
• Advocate for women and children: We champion issues that impact women and children, working to create a supportive and equitable community.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive environment: We value diversity of opinions and support multi-generational engagement, creating a vibrant and inclusive community.

Special Incentives for Your Generosity

To encourage your generosity this Giving Tuesday, we are delighted to offer two special incentives:

• Matching Funds: Our Board of Directors will match up to $750 of funds donated. This means that every dollar you contribute will go twice as far in supporting our mission.
• Gift Card Raffle: Donate $25 or more, and you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card to Target, Alamo Drafthouse, Panera, or Dancing Mule Coffee. It’s our way of saying THANK YOU for your support.
