2025-2026 JLS Request For Proposal
Purpose Statement:
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking projects in alignment with the Junior League of Springfield’s (JLS’) mission, vision, and values which will promote meaningful member volunteer opportunities and worthwhile partner benefits, build commitment and connection among JLS members, and support community needs.
Over the last several years, this RFP has sought short-term ‘Done In A Day’ projects. In accordance with the JLS’ new 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, the JLS is now seeking longer-term proposals, specifically projects which have a minimum of a one year, or 12-month term. While not guaranteed, there could be consideration for continuation beyond one year if agreed upon by both parties (JLS and Agency). Organizations would be required to apply annually.
Selected projects will have dedicated support and pull-through by the JLS Community Projects Committee. In addition to a dedicated committee and JLS volunteers, limited funds are available. Total annual funding available for the 2025-2026 project grant cycle is anticipated to be approximately $20,000. If multiple community partners are selected, funding may be split across organizations. No more than two (2) organizations will be selected. Funding will be distributed at the discretion of the JLS.
The JLS is excited and encouraged by this opportunity to invest in the community in a way which is impactful for our organization, its members, local non-profits, and the Springfield community. The Project Review and Development committee, in conjunction with the JLS Board of Directors and membership look forward to the partnerships that will be developed through this process.
