International Find the Good Day:
A Celebration of Compassion, Community, and Positive Change
Now more than ever, the world needs greater optimism, positivity, and resilience. Coming September 19, 2024 and throughout the month of September, the Junior League of Springfield (JLS) will be celebrating International Find the Good Day! Find the Good Day is not just a date on the calendar; it’s a movement that reflects the timeless spirit of Junior Leagues – a legacy of kindness, empowerment, and community transformation. Together, we aim to make a difference by embracing the power of unity, positive change, and finding the good.
Celebrate with Us
JLS is celebrating Find the Good Day this year by hosting a Septem’BRA’ donation drive for I Support the Girls. Through an international network of Affiliates, I Support the Girls (ISTG) collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.
We are collecting new/gently used bras (most needed item!), new underwear, and feminine hygiene products from September 1 – 18. A team of JLS volunteers will deliver our donations to I Support the Girls on September 19th – Find the Good Day!

Giveback with Us
JLS will be hosting a giveback day with Kendra Scott at the Battlefield Mall on September 20th. Come join us to shop with a purpose! You can either join us in store on September 20th from 4 to 6 or shop online from September 20 – 22 and be sure to use code GIVEBACK-HKYHX.
Join the Movement
You don’t have to be a Junior League Member to participate in Find the Good Day. This day is for everyone! Use it as an opportunity to focus on the good in your community. While it’s easy to point out the negatives, today is a day to shine a light on the positives around us. It’s time to uplift others and take action to make a difference. Today is a day for good deeds, spreading kindness, and making a positive impact in your community. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, volunteering at a local charity, or simply offering a kind word, every act of goodwill contributes to the greater good.
If you find yourself inspired and want to do even more for your community, consider learning more about the Junior League Springfield. As a Member, you can receive training, mentorship, and the support needed to become a Leader and advocate for meaningful change.
