Description
For 125 years, The Junior League has been shaping communities and empowering women to lead with purpose. Founded in 1901 by social activism pioneer Mary Harriman, The Junior League began as a bold idea: that women, equipped with training, collaboration, and shared purpose, could drive meaningful and lasting change. More than a century later, that belief continues to guide everything we do.
Through volunteer action, leadership development, and collaboration, The Junior League has built a powerful pipeline of women leaders who strengthen communities – supporting the vulnerable, expanding educational opportunities, advocating for equity, and addressing society’s most pressing challenges. Across generations, our members have left an indelible mark by stepping up as thoughtful, prepared, and courageous change agents.
